Peggy Ranger, President has owned and operated Peggy's Natural Foods, a leading store on the Treasure
Coast of Florida, since 1982.  She is a licensed Certified Nutritionist and has a Masters Degree in Exceptional
Child Education.  It was by working with her students that she realized many of their learning and concentration
problems were related to a lack of nutrients in their lunches.  Peggy has been a member of the SENPA for over 20
years and has been on the board since 1994 and has served as treasurer since 1999.  She has been a part of
many committees in the field of nutrition and in her local community.  The natural food industry is her lifestyle.
Carylene Reed, Executive Director, began her background in the industry when her father opened his first
natural foods store in Clearwater, Florida in 1950. She continued in the industry by joining him in the business in
1971 and eventually taking over the business. She was elected to the board of directors of SENPA in 1974 and is
celebrating her 35th year with the association. She became their full time executive director in 1987 and operates
the office in New Port Richey, FL  with three staff members.
