  • Legislative and Regulatory Protection - THE ONLY TRADE ASSOCIATION REPRESENTING YOUR
    INDUSTRY. Southeast closely monitors state legislative and regulatory activities and protects
    members from discretionary enforcement and product seizures in the seven southeast
    states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

  • Regional Convention and Trade Show - SOHO EXPO (Retail membership offers free admittance).
    This outstanding show is held in December in Orlando, Florida, at the Orange County Convention
    Center. Exhibitors are assured attendance will be qualified natural health food retailers. Retailers will
    be able to shop over 385 exhibits and attend over 20 hours of educational programs.
  • "Staying Informed: Fax alerts - newsletters and updates. The Southeast Region publishes SOHO
    SPEAKS six times a year.
  • SENPA TruLabel Quality Assurance and GMP Programs

TruLabel Quality Assurance Program
National Natural Products Association Supply members distributing dietary supplements and herbs under
their own label are required to be members of Natural Products Association's highly respected TruLabel
program. TruLabel is a label registration random testing program. This program is the industry's only self-
regulatory effort, which fosters quality assurance and generates wide respect within the natural products
industry.

Good Manufacturing Practices Program
In 1999, SENPA launched its Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Certification program for member
suppliers of dietary supplements. This program is based upon third party inspections of member suppliers
and comprehensive audits of their GMP programs in a variety of areas including quality operations,
production and process controls, and distribution.
